Who loves the Yankees?

I love the Yankees!

We went to a Yankee game on Labor Day weekend (they were playing the Blue Jays) and it was sooo fun.

My pictures didn't turn out too well...but here are a few...

See the picture? That's Derek Jeter...the shortstop...he won the Heart and Hustle award the night we were there.

We were there super early so the seats were still empty...this picture is to show how much I love the lights coming on at night games.

Another highlight is when the players and crowd place their hats over their hearts for for the national anthem...

This is a picture of old Yankee stadium I took while we drove around looking for somewhere to park.

This is new Yankee stadium...I like it because it looks older than old Yankee stadium.

This is the boys before the bleachers filled up...it got very crowded (I would say it was too crowded, except for the fact that the people were all extremely nice (and hilarious--but I can't say why because I don't want to make fun of the way New Yorkers talk
:-))...don't the boys look super cool and tough? ;-)

Olivia kept stealing my hat.

I had to steal it back though because once your hair has had a hat (especially in 5000% humidity) you can't go back to not wearing a hat. JJ surprised me with this hat right before the game (I'm the only member of the family to like the Yankees)(I don't understand why the rest of the family doesn't like them...I mean, how could you not like a team sporting classic navy pinstripes on their uniform?)
In conclusion: hot dogs, the national anthem, baseball uniforms, stadium lights, funny people, a new hat, summer night, New York, the whole family, the sounds of baseball, and the Yankees = almost perfect.
