Sorry?

The other day my kids seemed to be fighting quite a bit. It was driving me crazy so I told them whenever they got in a fight they would have to write apology notes to each other. It made sense at the time. Anyway, these notes kept appearing in the kitchen--they were all for me--I think the author thought I meant they had to apologize to me. The notes written by the other two were shown to the injured party and then immediately destroyed.
